Data kes positif Covid-19 yang mengelirukan. Walaupun kes baharu covid yang direkod pada hari ni turun kepada 4,611, iaitu paling rendah dalam bulan Jun 2021, tetapi jumlah testing juga turun kepada 58,384 iaitu paling rendah dalam bulan ini.
Jumlah test hari ini merosot 44.5% berbanding 105,293 pada 4 Jun.
Paling memeranjatkan, peratus kes positif iaitu 7.90% daripada jumlah tests adalah TERTINGGI dalam bulan ini.
Adakah kita boleh lega dengan penurunan kes pada hari ini?
TIDAK SAMA SEKALI, MALAH PERLU LEBIH BERJAGA². Lebih² lagi bila jumlah vaccination turun dengan banyak sejak 3 hari lepas.

SHOCKING DETAILS behind Malaysia’s case reduction today
I was cautiously optimistic when I saw Malaysia’s cases at 4,611 after a week of alternating between 5-6k. Around 6pm, I received the daily testing numbers. It was a mind boggling 58,384 tests!
Looking at the numbers below, our testing has reduced over the past 3 Mondays.
7/6 : 81,708 people tested (6.45%)
14/6 : 70,044 people tested (7.07%)
21/6 : 58,384 people tested (7.90%)
In fact, by just comparing these 3 Mondays, one can see that the positive rate is actually increasing! This is truly unbelievable. Since I have been tracking the daily cases (26/5), we have never tested this low!!
